The BMW Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor, compatible with all BMW models, has successfully undergone the salt spray test (720 hours/5% NaCl) and has received waterproof certification. The titanium alloy valve is capable of enduring the elevated temperature of 125°C in the Middle Eastern desert and the severe cold of -40°C in Northern Europe. The integrated temperature adjustment algorithm regulates pressure drift to within 0.05 bar (one-third of the SAE J2657 standard), thereby addressing the issue of erroneous tyre pressure alerts in BMW vehicles during winter.

Equipped with 433MHz (European/315MHz) dual-band adaptive module (FCC-ID: 2AARL-3610), combined with LoRa+ bluetooth 5.3 dual-mode transmission, the bit error rate is less than 0.01% in strong electromagnetic fields such Tesla Supercharger Stations and the signal strength in the metal wheel hub is stable -85dBm.
Adopting LoRa+ bluetooth 5.3 dual-mode gearbox, the BMW Tyre Pressure Monitor Sensor extends the gearbox distance to 300 meters and has a measured signal penetration rate of 99.2% in difficult urban settings (such as Shanghai Lujiazui). Its adaptive frequency hopping technique avoids WiFi/charging pile interference in the 2.4GHz frequency range, and in powerful electromagnetic environments like Tesla Supercharger Stations the bit error rate is less than 0.01%. Monitoring range 0-5.5 bar (0.05bar precision), BMW Tyre Pressure Sensor supports -40°C to 125°C harsh environment using lithium thionyl chloride battery (1.9V-3.6V). BMW TPMs sensor compatibility required to be confirmed by VIN code to guarantee matching with ECU protocol of 98% models from 2006 to 2024. Equipped with 433MHz/315MHz dual-frequency signal (suited to European and American models), It resists high-pressure car washes and keeps sand and dirt out of the valve core.
Applications scenarios and reset trigger circumstances
Change to snow tires in winter (environmental temperature -10°C) or long-distance high-speed driving (> 130km/h for 30 minutes), then reset and calibrate the data using the BMW tyre pressure sensor either through the iDrive system or ISTA diagnostic tool. To prevent electromagnetic interference, the high-voltage battery must be switched off before putting hybrid models (such iX/i4) installed. The tire pressure reading has to be exactly what the B-pillar nameplate marks-cold tire condition. An instrument alert will be set off by an error of > 0.2bar.
